It is true that when examining an artifact more closely many questions, thoughts and connotations are generated. An interesting piece of information or a particular element of an object or a building may urge us to seek more data, thus becoming the beginning of the thread that will help us to 'unravel' a unique story about the place and the people, art and tradition. Oftentimes artifacts are accompanied with stories that are sometimes preserved in writing or through oral tradition, or are related to stories that have faded away over the years. Through the section "stories behind the artifacts' we present data collected and synthesized through our own research, which highlight selected exhibits and parts of the building complex that houses them in an alternative manner.
